Webdesign and photography for the hair salon and store We Apartment.
About
The client was seeking a stylish and minimalist design. They had had no current graphic profile except their logo, so I selected colors and fonts for the website.
Design
I used a sans serif font (Neue Haas Unica) since it is suitable for text on a screen. For a sophisticated impression, I did the headings in a serif font (Cormorant Garamond). I used the grey color that the company has in its logo combined with a darker shade of grey. I did the background in an off-white color for a warmer impression.
I also photographed environmental images of the salon for the website. I edited their existing staff images to black and white, with a black background to match the new design.
Function
On the website the user can read about which services the salon offers, see the prices and read about the stylists' qualification. It's easy for the user to proceed to the booking site. All texts on the website are written by We Apartment.
