This book visualizes the place of an urban skatepark where skateboarders challenge themselves physically and mentally. This book captures the architecture of the skatepark highlighting the raw beauty and power of the material.
ABOUT
All the images are shot by me, the aim was to capture images that align with the theme and story. I wrote the text captions to provide context and enhance the storytelling aspect. I planned the layout for each page considering the balance between images and white space. I ensured to create a visually appealing and cohesive layout based of a grid system. I picked appropriate fonts for any text elements, maintaining readability and complementing the overall aesthetic. When the book layout was done I printed a physical mockup that i sew with a pamphlet binding technique.
