Silky targets Millennials and Gen-Z people, a generation that actively observes its surroundings. The aesthetic is selected to capture the target group and represent the brand's style and core values of simple and effective skincare that heals and soothes the skin.
ABOUT
SILKY is based of a a school project from 2023 with the purpose to create design based on traditional and analog methods. Based on this I chose to work with wet watercolor. I designed a graphic profile and product packaging for a fictional skincare brand named Silky. As the skin care industry is competitive, the vision was to create packaging that stands out on the market. 
PROCESS AND DESIGN
Minimalist typography combined with the vivid pattern of wet watercolor creates contrast. The logo consists of soft shapes inspired by the softness of the skin. I created the logo in Illustrator. During the process I scanned the watercolor paintings and applied them to my package design layout in Illustrator.
